Please take a moment to read these before booking. Booking means you agree to everything below.

Booking Your Date

To lock in your session, a deposit is needed. It’s non-refundable, but it goes toward your total. Dates and prices aren’t guaranteed until the deposit is paid.

If you cancel, the deposit stays with us. If something comes up and you need to reschedule, let us know — we’ll do our best to work it out. If the new date doesn’t work for us, a new deposit might be needed.

If we have to cancel due to something unexpected (like illness or bad weather), we’ll offer you a new date or a full refund.

Being On Time

Your session runs from the time we agreed — not from when you arrive. If you're late, we’ll still need to finish at the original end time. More than 15 minutes late? We might need to reschedule, and that could mean a new deposit.

Image Use

We (K.Foto) keep the rights to all the photos we take. You get a license to use them for personal stuff like printing, sharing, or posting online. Just don’t sell them, edit them heavily, or use them for commercial things without checking with us first.

We love sharing our work and may feature some of your images on our website or socials. If you’d prefer we didn’t, just let us know in writing before your session. There’s a small fee for privacy, and anything already shared can’t be taken down.

Getting Your Photos

You’ll get a preview gallery (not downloadable) within 1 week. These are for you to choose your favourites. Once that’s done (and full payment is received), we’ll send your final edited photos in about 2-4 weeks.

Photos come as high-quality JPEGs in an online gallery. Please download and save them — we only keep files for 6 months, and re-sending after that might come with a small fee.

We don’t include RAW or unedited files unless we’ve agreed on that beforehand. For video, only the final edited version is delivered.

Editing Style

All images are edited in our style — natural, clean, and timeless. Basic edits like colour and lighting are included. If you want extra retouching (like removing things or heavy editing), let us know — we can quote that separately.

We don’t offer editing that goes against our creative values or style.

Locations & Fees

If your shoot location needs a permit, entry fee, or travel costs, those are up to you. We’ll help you figure it out if needed.

Trusting the Process

We work best when you trust our creative process. You’re welcome to share what you love, but we don’t promise specific photos or moments — every session is unique.

By booking, you’re giving us permission to photograph everyone in your session (including kids). If you don’t want images used for promo, let us know before the shoot.

Safety & Responsibility

You join the session at your own risk. We’re not responsible for any injuries, accidents, or lost items. If any of our gear or a venue is damaged because of someone at your shoot, we may ask for repair or replacement costs.

Final Bits

These terms reflect how we normally work together and apply to all bookings with K.Foto unless a separate agreement is made in writing. If anything changes, we’ll let you know in writing. If one part ever becomes invalid (yep, legal stuff), the rest still holds up.
